Dr. Ngiam Tee Liang holding his pet dog. He was Senior Lecturer, Deputy Head (1998), Head (2007) and later Associate Professor at Department of Social Work and Psychology in National University of Singapore (1994-to date). He was appointed as Justice of the Peace; Chairman of Family Resource and Training Centre (1999); Nominated Member of Parliament (Jul 2002-Jan 2005); and Deputy Director, Centre for Advanced Studies, NUS (1998). He was conferred the Long Service Medal in 2008 National Day Awards.
