This 2003 view shows the exterior of the building modelled after the 20th century Edwardian England style of fire stations with red and white stripes repeated across windows and columns. Hidden on its right is the Civil Defence Heritage Gallery building. Central Fire Station was gazetted as a national monument on 18 December 1998. Title devised by Library staff.
