This is a view of the entrance to the Red Cross House, headquarters of Singapore Red Cross Society at 15, Penang Lane. Lady Goode, President of the Singapore Branch of British Red Cross Society, laid the foundation stone on 19 November 1959. It was declared open by Mr. Yusof Ishak, Yang di-Pertuan Negara or Head of State, on 5 September 1961. Title devised by Library staff.
