Dr. Wu Lien-teh's family

All five children received higher education. The three daughter's Yu-lin, Yu-chen and Yu-chu are educationists. The two sons, Chang-sheng and Chang-yun, are lawyer and dental surgeon respectively. Taken during Dr. Wu Lien-teh long vacation in Ipoh, 10th September 1949. This family photograph shows Dr. Wu Lien-teh and his second wife, Madam Marie Lee Suk Cheng with their five children. A Penang-born physician, Dr. Wu, his two sons and youngest daughter, Pearl Yu-chu, are dressed in Western attire. Mrs Wu and the two older girls are in cheongsams. Title devised by Library staff.
