This is a view of the Dunearn Secondary School (德能中学) at 35, Hillcrest Road, off Dunearn Road. The school was established in February 1962 as Dunearn Government Chinese Middle School (德能政府中学校). In 1969, it merged with Dunearn Vocational School to form Dunearn Secondary School. In 1993, the school was relocated to 21, Bukit Batok West Avenue 2. Past principals include Mr. Tsai Tswai Lin (1969-1971); Mr. Wee Heng Tin (1971-1975); Mr. Wong Kai Ping (1975-1979); Mr. Sim Hock Hye (沈福海, 1979-1980); Mr. R. Ramachandra (1984-1987); Miss Peck Soo Hong (1989-1990); Miss Dorothy Tay Bee Hian (1992-1997); Mrs. Catherine Seah-Woon Meen Faye (温明慧, 2000-Dec 2003); Mr. Wong Lok Oon (黄禄安, Dec 2003-Dec 2009); and Mr. Boo Hian Kok (巫向国, Dec 2009-to date).
