This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. George Yeo Yong-Boon (杨荣文), Second Minister for Foreign Affairs (Jul 1991-Jan 1994) and later Minister for Foreign Affairs (Aug 2004-2011). In 1973, he was selected as a President's Scholar. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1983, to Colonel in 1986 and to Brigadier-General in 1988.
