This is a photograph of a view of the entrance to Shuqun Secondary School at 450, Jurong East Street 21. The school was established in 1925 as "Tuan Cheng Public School" (端正学校). The school was renamed "Seh Chuan School" and located at Jalan Seh Chuan, off Jalan Jurong Kechil, in 1933. In 1958, when secondary classes were added, it became Seh Chuan High School. In April 1983, it became a government school and was renamed "Shuqun Secondary School" in 1985. The school was relocated to 450, Jurong East Street 21 in March 1985. It was declared open by Mrs. Yu-Foo Yee Shoon, People's Action Party Member of Parliament for Yuhua, on 17 July 1987. In April 1984, Shuqun Primary School (树群小学) was established as a separate school. In June 1986, the primary school was relocated to 8, Jurong West Street 51. Past principals of Seh Chuan High School and Shuqun Secondary School include Mr. Ng Kian Ping (1953-1964); Mr. Boey Yim Thim (1969-1986); Mrs. Cheong-Chan Wan Mui (1987); Mr. Low Eng Kee (1988-1990); Mrs. Kang Yeok Lung (1991-1996); Miss Chee Mei Chun (1997-Dec 2002); Mrs. Chua-Lim Yen Ching (Jan 2003-Jun 2006); Mr. Adolphus Tan Chin Eng (Jun 2006-to date).
