This publication provides a historical account of the Airport Emergency Service from its early days in Kallang Airport to today's Changi Airport. The publication features the history of the formation of the fire fighting service in the 1940s, profiles and biographies of past chief fire officers, accounts of past airport accidents and emergencies encountered by the emergency service, evolution of the equipment acquired and fire fighting training through the years and testimonies from officers who had served in the service.
