This Release No. 1 is the first of nine periodic releases of the Census of Population taken in 1980. It provides basic information on the demographic, geographic distribution and other characteristics of the population such as age group, ethnic group, language literacy, sex and residential status. The maps of the census divisions and districts are attached at the end of the report.
