The People's Association was entrusted the responsibility of promoting various cultural activities, to keep alive the cultural traditions of the people. It has so far concentrated on the performing arts. In the effort to bring the arts to the masses, no effort has beenspared, to see that quality is not sacrificed for quantity, creativity for imitation and excellence for mediocrity.
