My memory of Singapore is about a playground I grew up playing in. The playground is in the old little residential area of Toa Payoh. It is structured mimicking an elephant with the nose of the elephant as the slide. There are 2 swings where me and my brother used to play together, competing who swings higher. The playground is filled with sand. I used to dig so deep into the playground thinking I would find some treasure within. The playground holds much memories or the fun times we have. Now it is almost gone replaced with new housing flats, new playground. Yet the image of the elephant, inviting all children to play remains so vivid in my heart. This is my home, my Singapore, my memory.
