Give 4,000 Kids a Head Start
Reading can make a difference!. A good education can enable children from less well-to-do families to be successful in life. Reading is a vital skill for children to do well in almost all subjects in school. Without it, a child will start school on a weak footing.
The reading and learning needs of the underserved are an ongoing focus in our service delivery. We establish library services benefitting children in special-needs schools, welfare homes and orphanages. Donations will be used to buy library materials and to organise programmes that will enhance their learning and reading.
kidsREAD helps to develop the reading habit among children from less well-to-do families between the ages of four and eight.
The five-year programme has been designed by early childhood educators. It helps children to continuously develop a love for reading and enhance their English language skills. Children will participate in storytelling, singing, acting, dancing, poetry recitals and crafts activities, games and outings.
This equips them to better manage their studies, confidently articulate their thoughts and grow up with optimism and higher self-esteem.
Your generous donation will give them a head start in life!
